In short

BudgetCombo requires no registration, no Steam login and no access to your inventory. We do not know who you are and we do not want to.

What the site collects

• Quiz preferences (budget, selected pieces, colours): kept in your browser during the session to build the loadout. Not linked to any identity.
• Combo votes (thumbs up / down): stored anonymously and in aggregate to learn which pairings people like. They contain no personal data.
• Language choice: saved in your browser (localStorage) to remember your preference.
• Server logs: IP address and requested pages, kept only as long as needed to operate and secure the service.

What we do NOT collect

No name, email, payment details, inventory contents or Steam credentials. We do not sell data to third parties, because we do not have any.

Marketplace links

Clicking a marketplace takes you to an external site with its own privacy policy. Some of these links are affiliate links: the marketplace may record that you arrived from BudgetCombo so it can credit us a commission. We do not receive your personal data in return.

Cookies

The site uses no tracking, advertising or profiling cookies. It uses browser localStorage only to remember your language choice.

One strictly functional cookie exists, but visitors never receive it: it is set only when the site operator signs in to the internal maintenance tools. It carries no information about you.

Destination marketplaces may set their own cookies under their own rules once you leave this site.

Since we keep no identifying data, there is no profile to access or delete. For any question about data handling, write to budgetcombo@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
